Celis and Lux.
The former prince of the fallen Old Arcadia Empire and a fellow student of the Royal Officer Academy. Celis originally objected to Lux's enrollment in the academy, officially due to being a man-hater. In reality, her intention was to protect Lux, out of guilt over her responsibility in the death of Lux's grandfather Wade Roadbelt.
After the truth was revealed, Celis stopped trying to remove Lux from the academy. She asked him to teach her how to rely on others and how to get along with men. She also developed feelings for Lux, which increased until she eventually gave him a passionate kiss (though this was partly due to being tricked by Yoruka).
Old Arcadia Empire[]
Wade Roadbelt[]
Celes's teacher in swordsmanship who was also Lux's maternal grandfather. He taught Celis sword arts and tactics, and she considers him the reason she became strong. Prior to the Old Empire's downfall, Celes heard a story of its negative side and passed this on to Wade, who then attempted to counsel the Old Empire. As a result, Wade was imprisoned and eventually died in prison. Celis regretted her own actions ever since.

Saniya Lemiste[]
Saniya was one of the few friends in the academy that Celis had. It was later revealed that she was a spy from the Heiburg Republic sent to infiltrate the academy. Saniya faced off against Celis. She lost but was able to escape. Saniya was than later defeated in the Yoruka Arc, when she had a rematch with Celis and was once again defeated for her betrayal.
Rosa Granhide[]
Celis and Rosa's first meeting.
One of the Seven Dragon Paladins and representative of the Heiburg Republic. They first met in the Campus Festival Arc, when Rosa randomly attacked a civilian and Celis opposed her, which led to Shalice being injured by Rosa. Later on, the Lords requested an exhibition match between the newly formed Paladins, with the winner getting first right to excavate the Ruins located in the Ralgris territory for a month. This meant that Celis and Lux had no choice but to fight Rosa and her aide Calensia. In the fight Celis and Lux had the upper hand until Rosa proved how ruthless she truly was and resorted to underhanded methods.
Their next interaction was in the Singlen Arc, by which time their relationship had become less hostile. After a meeting between the Paladins. Lux said farewell to Rosa with a pleasant atmosphere, causing Celis to become jealous.
